The New England Patriots did it!!!!!!! 16 - 0 Season!!!! Now on to the playoffs!!! Congrats to the WHOLE team!!!! A respectful handshake to the New York Giants for a tough 38 - 35 game! If you had to have a game with such a record (as well as Tom Brady's touchdown pass, Randy Moss' touchdown catches, and the most points by a team in a season) on the line, I was VERY happy to see such an iconic game! If Ellis Hobbs had not gotten that interception away from Eli Manning the score would have been different.
Now for the very un-butch photo of Sean celebrating after the final second ticked away!

OK, I've kept quiet for a while and let you enjoy the ride. But, now I'm going to talk some trash. Enjoy it while it lasts. Brett Favre and the Pac are going to stop Tom Brady and the Pats!!!
What woman wouldn't want to be the Audrey Hepburn of a relationship :-)
I wouldn't confuse luck and talent. Favre will start his 22nd playoff game this Sunday close on the heels of Joe Montana's record. He has completed 401 of 663 passes for 4,902 yards and 34 touchdowns in playoff games. I agree with the Pakers coach that Favre is "a once in a lifetime player. He will go down as one of the greatest or the greatest player in NFL history." And let's not forget that it was Favre that led the Packers past New England 35-21 for Green Bay's first Super Bowl victory after their 29-year drought.
Favre may be starting his 22nd playoff game, but he's been in the league since the Kennedy assassination. This will be Brady's 16th playoff game in 7 years as a starting quarterback. Also, in terms of playoff statistics, Favre has a completion percentage of 61.5% while Brady has 62.5%. Favre has had 26 interceptions in 21 games while Brady has had only 9 in the 15 games. Favre's Win % in the playoffs is 57.1%. Brady's is 86.6%. I'd say that Brady has the overall better record. The old man had a great season, but his unorthodox style is prone to mistakes which Favre has gotten lucky on this season. Last season not so much. A team like the Patriots feeds on such mistakes.
The Packers are not a one man team. They are a young team, but there's a lot of talent there. The funny thing is that I'm actually a Bears fan saying all of this pro Packers stuff. See why I have to move out of Chicagoland ;-)

Absolutely, but neither are the Patriots. Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Donte Stallworth, Benjamin Watson, Kevin Faulk, Laurence Maroney, Juior Seau, Teddy Bruschi, Asante Samuel, Adalius Thomas, Rodney Harrison, Ellis Hobbs... You might as well just play the patriots in the pro-bowl for the AFC. And just wait until next year. We'll probably be keeping most of our players, and we'll be getting some new guys to freshen up our admittedly aging defense.
