The Red Sox win the World Series....

(commence rant)

and the nitwit BU, BC and Northeastern students riot, damage at least 20 cars.  Forty of them got arrested and (according to what the schools said before hand) probably got themselves expelled from college too.

Notice I call them students and not fans, because my guess is that many of them didn't bother cheering for the Red Sox before they got to school and realized the opportunity to go cause havoc.

Come on kids, act like you've been there before.  I know some of you around in 2004.

The Red Sox were clearly the better team and won convincingly.  I'm glad they won, but part of me fears we are becoming that which we despise (the Yankees.)  Hopefully our fans can continue to appreciate that teams this good are not going to come around every year and really shouldn't be expected to.  

Congrats to the Sox, I hope to make it out to the parade tomorrow and take some pictures
