Red Sox/Yankees=Insanity

Just back from the Sox-Yankees game. The atmosphere was amazing, I have to think that was what Fenway was like during the World Series in 2004.

The Red Sox lost 4-3, but got a run off the previously-unscored-upon Joba Chamberlain and a run of Mariano Rivera. David Ortiz was up in the bottom of the ninth with the bases loaded and two outs but couldn't get it done.

And now I'm wired and can't sleep. Probably something to do with the monster adrenaline rush I got watching Ortiz hit. I could feel my heart beating in my chest the whole time.

At least the Patriots kicked the Charger's ass!

I took some photos, but not too many. I wanted to focus on the game. They will go up tomorrow.

It sux your team lost. Let's hang on to the idea that those other people will be gone by October...

I'm not worried about it. The Sox will win the division, the Yankees will win the wildcard and we'll play again in October.

So it is written, so it shall be done!

Man, wish I could've gone.

Frank is predicting that the Sox and Yanks will meet again at the championship playoffs. Yeah.

My guess....yes.

I'm actually not a fan of either. When I lived in Boston, I used to say that I like the Yankees just to piss people off. That was severely fun, especially when I would talk about how much I loved the "Evil Empire" despite knowing next to nothing about baseball.

I like certain players (like Suzuki Ichiro), but only because he's nice to look at.
