This is an exciting time for me.... yes more baseball.
- The Colorado Rockies are still playing for something and it is almost October.
This hasn't happened for a very long time. - Troy Tulowitzki - Should be the Rookie of the year in the National League & should win a gold glove.
(okay that is just my opinion .... but I was seen most of the competition play) - Matt Holliday - Is a strong canidate for MVP of the League.
(and if the Rockies can win 5 more games I think that he will win it.) - Another thing that excites me is the Barry Bonds "756 ball" ..... how perfect. The ball goes to the Hall of Fame with a fan selected Big Fat * branded into it. have to hand it to Marc Ecko .... now if he will just buy Mark McGuires Ball and do the same thing!
- And the Yankees .... they might win the WILD CARD ! I love that too.... second place! will they hang that banner? (although I am still not confident. Boston still might blow it - I am to use to that.)

And the thing is, the team I don't hate the most is the team you don't think it is. It's not the Mets. It's not the Yankees. It's the Atlanta Braves. I have ALWAYS hated the Braves. They thought they were cool when they ripped off the tomahawk chop from Florida State. Their fans are unbelievably white collar beyond belief. And any fans outside the immediate Atlanta vicinity are clear-cut frontrunners. There were zero Braves fans in the 80s. Now all of a sudden, you find people where Braves hats everywhere. Their organization disgusts me as a whole.
We just played the Rockies recently in a 4-game series. And man are they a team to be reckoned with. I'm split between NL MVP. It's either going to go to Jimmy Rollins or Matt Holliday.
I am with you on the Braves.... I love them hate them. I watched your Phillies last night. I really like that team (ever since Tug). Rollins and Utley just outstanding. Yes I could go for Rollins as MVP. I think it may come down to what team makes the playoffs.
The one that will get me ... if Troy Tulowitzki doesn't get rookie of the year. Playing shortstop and leading all shortstops in fielding %, (on a team that is leading the majors in fielding %), batting right at 300 & so far the second most HRs for a rookie shortstop ever. Gold Glove ? in the running.... the unassisted triple play he made was cool too.
It has been a fun season for the NL. 4 games to go and no team has clinched.
that momentum is something ... I went to the last two home games, at coor field. as rookies fans we really don't know how to act.
be it the rockies or the phillies, tne D'backs look like they will be hard to beat. (I think the cubs are done)
good luck! the phillies are a great team.
